The Federal High Court in Abuja has authorized the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) to arrest Yahaya Bello, the former governor of Kogi State, ahead of his scheduled arraignment on Thursday.
Justice Emeka Nwite issued the warrant this afternoon at the request of the EFCC.
Meanwhile, a conflicting ruling from the Kogi State High Court has barred the EFCC from arresting, detaining, or prosecuting the former governor.
