Rophe Global, a leading nonprofit organization dedicated to extending free medical services, charity initiatives, and spreading the gospel of Christ to unreached people groups, recently embarked on a four-day mission to Agbowa-Ikosi, Lagos, Nigeria.
The mission, which took place from 22nd – 25th November, 2023, aimed to reach out to the unreached community of Agbowa-Ikosi, providing much-needed medical care, spreading the message of hope through the Gospel, and offering essential palliatives to those in need.
During the four-day mission, the team from Rophe Global with support from their partners, WuraisGold Charity Foundation, He’s Alive Chapel, LRM International, Capro, and The Well Experience conducted various outreach activities, including:
- Providing free medical services: A team of healthcare professionals from Rophe Global offered medical consultations, check-ups, and treatments to residents of Agbowa-Ikosi, addressing a wide range of health issues and concerns.
- Charity initiatives: In addition to medical services, Rophe Global distributed essential items and palliatives to families and individuals facing economic hardship in the community. These provisions included food supplies, Bibles, clothes, hygiene kits, and other basic necessities to help alleviate their immediate needs.
- Spreading the Gospel: As part of their mission, the team also shared the message of hope and love found in the Gospel of Christ with the residents of Agbowa-Ikosi. Through prayer, worship, and personal testimonies, they sought to uplift spirits and bring comfort to those facing challenges.
