Eid-el-Fitr Celebration: Ogun Youth Chairman Felicitates Muslim Faithfuls, Commends Success of Ramadan Fasting

The State Chairman of the National Youth Council of Nigeria, Olóyè Akolawole Shoremi, joined Muslim Faithfuls in celebrating this year’s Eid-el-Fitr, marking the end of the holy month of Ramadan.
Observing the Eid prayers at the Muslim Praying Ground, Agbeloba, Abeokuta, Shoremi commended Muslim Faithfuls for their dedication, sacrifice, and spiritual growth during the month-long fasting period. He emphasized the importance of Ramadan in fostering self-discipline, empathy, and piety among believers.
In his felicitation message, Shoremi said, “The celebration of Eid Fitri signifies the culmination of a period of fasting, prayer, and reflection for our Muslim brothers and sisters. It is a time of immense spiritual significance and renewal of faith.
“I commend all Muslim Faithfuls for their commitment to observing the fast of Ramadan and for striving to draw closer to Allah through acts of worship and service to others. Your dedication and perseverance are truly commendable.
“As we celebrate this joyous occasion, let us remember the teachings of Ramadan and continue to uphold the values of faith, sacrifice, charity, and unity in our daily lives. Let this season of Eid Fitri be a reminder of the importance of compassion, gratitude, and generosity towards all members of our community.
“I wish all Muslim Faithfuls a happy and blessed Eid Fitri celebration. May the spirit of joy, peace, and harmony prevail in our hearts and homes.”
The Chairman also reiterated his commitment to promoting interfaith harmony, mutual respect, and understanding among the young people of Ogun State. He encouraged all youths to embrace the spirit of unity and brotherhood during this festive period and beyond.
