The Leaders Council of All Progressives Congress in Ijebu East Local Government Plans A Befitting Support for Pastor John Oyeyemi’s Burial
The Leadership of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Ijebu East Local Government, under the able and dynamic leadership of High Chief Olusegun Osibote, announces with deep sorrow the passing of our cherished Party and community leader, Pastor John Oyeyemi, popularly known as Gbos Gbas, on Saturday, 24th February 2024. In honour of his memory and contributions, the APC leaders have put together plans for a dignified burial ceremony.
The wake keep for Pastor John Oyeyemi is slated for Thursday, 11th April 2024, while the burial service will take place on the 12th of April at 10 am at the CAEM Centre in Ijebu Ife The APC leaders are committed to supporting the Oyeyemi family during this period and ensuring a befitting farewell for our beloved leader.
A dedicated burial planning committee has been set up by the party, headed by Hon. Tayo Mabeweje, who has been working tirelessly with other members of the committee to ensure a hitch-free planning arrangement. The committee has been diligently coordinating all aspects of the burial ceremony in collaboration with the Oyeyemi family to honour Pastor John Oyeyemi’s legacy appropriately.
As part of these arrangements, the APC leaders have organized gift free Ankara attire to all members who will be in attendance at the burial ceremony. Additionally, provisions have been made for food and entertainment for members of the party at the event meant to honour the late Pastor Oyeyemi and foster unity among party members in Ijebu East.
We extend our heartfelt condolences to the Oyeyemi family and all those affected by this loss. May the soul of Pastor John Oyeyemi rest in perfect peace.
