The installation of Yeye OSENI Toyin Biliki as the Yeyemesho of Imeji, Iperu Remo, will take place tomorrow, Saturday, 7th September 2024.
The ceremony will be performed by the Onimeji of Imeji, Iperu Remo, His Royal Highness Oba Babatunde Kayode OLAYEBO OREMULE-SODA (Gbadewolu I), at his palace off Ibu Road, Iperu Remo, at 11 am.
Yeye OSENI, according to the letter of conferment personally signed by the royal father and dated 10th August 2024, is being honored in recognition of her efforts in promoting and preserving culture and tradition, her exquisite fashion sense, grassroots mobilization, community development, and her respect for the traditional institution of Obaship.
After the installation, guests will be entertained at a reception at the Christ Apostolic Grammar School Hall, Iperu Remo.
The Chairman of the Day is Otunba Taofeek SOKOYA (Danku), Chairman of the Articulate Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association (AMORAN), Ogun State Branch. The Father of the Day is Alhaji Samsudeen APELOGUN (All Rounder), National President of the Amalgamated Commercial Motorcycle Owners and Riders Association of Nigeria (ACOMORAN). The Mother of the Day is Hon. Adijat OLADAPO-ADELEYE, Honourable Commissioner for Women Affairs and Social Development, Ogun State.
Royal Fathers of the Day are the Olu of Itori, His Royal Highness Oba Abdulfatai Akorede AKAMO (Agbodere I), and the Osobia of Makun-Omi Kingdom, His Royal Highness Oba Kazeem Adeshina SALAMI (Ilufemiloba I). Special Guests of Honour include Dr. Toyin TAIWO, Deputy Chief of Staff to the Governor of Ogun State; Hon. (Mrs.) Funmi EFUWAPE, Honourable Commissioner for Special Duties and Intergovernmental Affairs; Aremo Alhaji Rafiu ELEGUSHI; and Barr. Kemi OSUDE-LANIYAN.
Born in Ibadan, Oyo State, Nigeria, on 29th May 1963, Yeye OSENI TOYIN BILIKI, fondly called Yeye by her admirers, began her formal education at Sacred Heart Primary School, Inalende, Ibadan, and proceeded to United High School, Apapa, Lagos, in 1976, graduating in 1982.
In 1985, seeking to further her knowledge and acquire entrepreneurial skills, Yeye OSENI enrolled in a certificate course in Catering. An entrepreneur and business tycoon, she is the CEO of Super T Catering and Rentals and the Managing Director of OTB Heritage Company, dealing in automobiles, granite, cement, and stationery, and also involved in general merchandising.
A women’s rights advocate who supports women’s liberation and emancipation, Yeye OSENI is a member of the National Council for Women Society (NWCS) and was the Public Relations Officer of its Sagamu Chapter for eight years.
Yeye OSENI TOYIN BILIKI is a prominent politician with extensive networks both within and outside Ogun State. She is the Convener of the Dapo Abiodun Apex Alliance Sisters, a group supporting the Prince Dapo ABIODUN-led administration and the All Progressives Congress. She is also the Director of Contact and Mobilization for the Asiwaju Ahmed Tinubu Support Group (AATSG), Ogun State Chapter, and Convener of the Yayi Movement Support Group. She was previously a chieftain of the defunct Alliance for Democracy (AD) and served as Secretary of its women’s wing in Sagamu Local Government, contested for Councillor in Ward 1 under the National Republican Convention (NRC), and was the Public Relations Officer of the Democratic Party of Nigeria (DPN) in Ward 2, Sagamu Local Government.
Yeye OSENI, a chieftain of the All Progressives Congress and Leader in Ward 4 (Iperu II) of Ikenne Local Government, is a staunch supporter and loyal ally of Ogun State Governor, His Excellency Prince Dapo ABIODUN, CON.
Happily married with children, Yeye OSENI TOYIN BILIKI holds the title of Yeye Isese Agbaye, an honor bestowed upon her by the Worldwide Isese Agbaye Community (WIAC).
Her hobbies include watching movies and football, and she is a fan of Arsenal Football Club of England.
