Second Edition of Welimarsax Live in Concert Today, Sunday, 1st September 2024

The second edition of the Welimarsax Live in Concert will be held today, Sunday, 1st September 2024, at Iperu Remo, Ogun State.

The concert, themed “The Love of Christ” (John 3:16), will take place at Akesan Iperu Club 1954, Atenda, Iperu Remo, starting at 2 p.m., with a Red Carpet event beginning at 1 p.m.

Several stars and upcoming gospel musical acts are scheduled to perform, including Shola Adesina, Tabitha Feranmi, Steve Sax, Minister Stella, Minister Opeyemi Orekoya, Minstrel Victoria, and Steve Praise.

Additional performers include Minister Samuel Kamiyo, Yommytee Sax, Tope Triumphant, and Minister Ay Praise. Pastor GBELEE of the Heritage Church of God will deliver words of exhortation, while Ven. Shadrach Olaniyi AJILEYE, Vicar of St. James’ Anglican Church, Iperu, and Archdeacon of the Iperu Archdeaconry, will serve as the Father of the Day and offer spiritual blessings.

According to Adewale EFUWAPE, the Host and Convener, also known as Welimarsax, the event is a gathering of gospel music talents and provides a wonderful opportunity for youths and the entire community to celebrate the love of Christ. It aims to give God quality praise, propagate the gospel, encourage inherent talents, pray for the community, local government area, state, nation, and the world, and experience God’s presence.

“It is a wonderful time to sing and dance to the Most-High God and celebrate the love of Christ in His presence, as powerful ministers of God lead us into His gates with thanksgiving and His courts with praise,” said EFUWAPE.
