It is not news that after elections, some of the contestants either go back to business as usual or vie for positions and/or contracts. Others just wait for another four (4) years to contest again, while the winner stays focused on the new appointment.
In a statement issued by the media director of SABCO, Lemmy Oduyebo, and signed by the organization Director General, Anita Nse Joshua, it was stated that, SABCO are committed to the progression of Ikorodu and the good people of Ikorodu.
The statement reads;
“For us at SABCO, we are pleased to inform you all that our commitment to the advancement of Ikorodu and the Ikorodu people remain infallible.
“Therefore, we will be embarking on numerous projects aimed at ameliorating the lives of Ikorodu people. We will not back down or be discouraged willy-nilly recognition.
“The only slight change is that (Samson Bisiriyu Campaign Organization) SABCO will now become SABCoF (Samson Bisiriyu Committee of Friends), tagged Igbega Ikorodu Movement.
“I believe that together, we can achieve more than we did before the elections. More so, we are open to youthful ideas and implementation strategies.
“Be rest assured that our visions remain intact.
“IgbegaIkorodu is our SURE AGENDA.
“Thank you.”
