Princess ‘Nifemi Onabanjo Congratulates Edun, Salako, Bosun, Betta, Lalong for Appointment as Ministers

The Secretary to the APC Ogun Woman Leader and the Special Assistant on Youth Engagement to the National Chairman of AATSG, Hon. Princess Oluwanifemi A. Onabanjo has congratulated Mr. Wale Edun, Dr. Iziak Kunle Salako, Dr. Bosun Tijani, Dr. Betta Edu and Mr. Simon Lalong on their appointments as ministers by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu.
Mr. Wale Edun is the minister of finance and the coordinating minister of the economy. Dr. Iziak Kunle Salako, the Minister of State for Environment and Ecological Management; Dr. Bosun Tijani is the Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy; Dr. Betta Edu is the Minister of Humanitarian Affairs and Poverty Alleviation; and Mr. Simon Lalong is the Minister of Labour and Employment.
In different congratulatory messages to the appointees, Onabanjo described their appointments as well-deserved, urging them to use their skills and expertise to advance the growth of their various Ministries and contribute to a more united, progressive and prosperous nation.
Congratulating Edun, Onabanjo said, she has no doubt in the capacity of Mr. Edun as he has shown that in his previous assignment as the Commissioner of Finance in Lagos under Bola Tinubu.
“Your appointment is truly a testament to your exceptional leadership qualities, successful career skills, and long-standing track record in public administration.” she added.
“For Kunle Salako, Onabanjo said his choice by the President as minister of State, Environment and Ecological Management was a testament to his sheer competence and proven capacity.
“For Bosun Tijani, Onabanjo noted his contributions to the technology and innovations sector of the economy. She said, she’s confident in his capability to deliver and exceed expectations as Minister of Communications, Innovation and Digital Economy.
“For Betta Edu, Onabanjo said, she’s humble, intelligent, and very hard working, true humanitarian with the grassroot touch. She has worked in her personal capacity to save lives of many poor and down trodden in society.
“Your appointment brings about renewed hope for brighter days; this is a commendable accomplishment as you step on this journey. We wished on your dedication to alleviate poverty in our nation, Nigeria”, she added.
Congratulating Lalong, Onabanjo said Lalong as Governor of Plateau State demonstrated a passion for improving the standard of living for the people of Plateau State, dedicating a significant portion of his time to delivering critical infrastructure projects and improving access to basic social services.
While wishing all ministers the best in their new assignment, Onabanjo called on Nigerians to rally around the new ministers by providing the necessary support that would enable them to succeed in their various areas of assignments for the benefit of Nigerians.
