In his characteristic manner of ensuring harmonious working relationships among the youth and all youth structures for vertical and horizontal development of the Ogun State youth constituency and beyond, the State Chairman, National Youth Council of Nigeria (NYCN), Ogun State chapter, Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe on Saturday, 22nd July 2023 presided over an extended stakeholders meeting of Abeokuta North local government branch of the Youth Council at the Ogun Youth House, MKO Stadium, Kuto, Abeokuta.
Recall that there have been striking tension in recent time among the local government youth leadership based on some fundamental issues raised by a large section of the Executive Council members on the Coordinator to which a committee was raised for all essentials, the consequence of which necessitated the State Chairman to summoned an extended Stakeholders meeting.
The meeting which lasted more than five hours received the committee reports, examined the contentious areas from all parties, and resolved amicably with an all-inclusive way forward.
The meeting had in attendance critical Stakeholders including a Former Deputy State Chairman and two-term Chairman of Abeokuta North LGA Youth Council, Com. Yunus Adeyemi; the Former State Commissioner of Nigerian Girl Guide and First Female Chairman, Abeokuta North Local Government Youth Council, Mrs. Modupe Alaba Kusimo; Serving State executive members including State Vice Chairman (Ogun Central), Dr. Adekunle Adewale, the State Secretary, Com. Akolawole Shoremi, the State Auditor, Com. Oyegunle Omowale, the State PRO Com. Adebare Ariyibi, the State Financial Secretary, Com. Aderemi Ilori, the State Organizing Secretary (Ogun Central), Com. Taiwo Olumayowa, State Organizing Secretary (Ogun West) Com. Kehinde Damilola; a Former Fin. Secretary and Treasurer of Abeokuta North Youth Council, Com. Sanni Monsur; a Former Coordinator and Ex-officio to the local Government, Com. Sulaimon Bolaji Moruf; NYCN Abeokuta North Local Government executive members which include the Coordinator, Deputy Coordinators; Branch Secretary, Auditor, Treasurer, Assistant Secretary, Social Secretary; National Vice President of Ansarudeen Youth Association of Nigeria; Head of Affiliate organizations, and other critical stakeholders from the local government.
