The State Chairman of the Youth Council, Com. Abdul-Jabar Ayelaagbe, on Saturday June 24, 2023, applauded the leadership of Man O’War Nigeria as a frontline uniform organization contributing to youth development and capacity-building in Nigeria.
Ayelaagbe, represented by the State Secretary of the Youth Council, Oloye Akolawole Shoremi who spoke at the Dress Regulation Conference organized by the national command of Man O’ War Nigeria, stated the selfless service of the organization as instrumental to national building.
According to the Youth Chairman, Man O’ War Nigeria is a high ranking organization whose participation at the periodical Orientation Camp of the National Youth Service Corps and the National Youth Council of Nigeria cannot be overemphasized as the body continues to mould positively the ethical and attitudinal mentality of the youths.
Reacting to pressmen at the event, Ayelaagbe applauded the initiative as a first of its kind where the men of Man O’ War Nigeria are further educated on appropriate dress pattern on Office Uniform, Field/Operational Uniform, and Ceremonial Uniform. “It is therefore necessary to reiterate the need for a continuous and relentless drive by the leadership of this noble organization at both the State and National Commands.
“Furthermore, may I urge that Government, at all levels, should also identify the need to give due moral and financial support to the activities of this organization at our collective’s interest,” Ayelaagbe concluded.
The event tagged ‘Dress-Inn’, ongoing at the NYSC Orientation Camp, Sagamu, Ogun State, commenced on Thursday June 22nd, 2023, and ended on Sunday June 25, 2023.
