The people of Ogijo celebrated this year’s Ojude Oba festival with pomp and music, as the colourful event attracted the low and mighty from all walks of life.
The festival is celebrated after Id-El-Kabir. The popular festival is one of the most glamorous cultural and spiritual festivals in Remo and Ijebu land in Ogun State in general. This is a celebration that has traditional, cultural, religious, social impact on the environment.
His Royal Majesty, Oba Kazeem Gbadamosi, the Ologijo of Ogijo, was arrayed in glamour while sons and daughters of Ogijo, Sagamu community including the Omo Oba Damilare Mohammed Bello , a member Ogun State House of Assembly representing Offin State constituency, Sagamu 1, also shined at the festival.
