Today, Sunday 15th January, 2023, History was made as Youth of Celestial Church of Christ, Nazareth Parish elected new leadership to pilot the affairs of the youth organization.
The elected executives are to be in Acting capacity for the next 3 months. The names of the elected executives are below:
- Bro Michael Oshinowo – Brother Coordinator 1
- Bro Obasa Oluwatosin – Brother Coordinator 2
- Sis Ayobami Adoke – Sister Coordinator
- Sis Jubril Oluwafunmi – General Secretary
- Bro Adeyemi Daniel – Treasurer
- Bro Ayobami Adeniyi – Public Relations Officer
- Sis Princess Odulana – Welfare Officer
- Bro Olasunkanmi Oduntan – Media Officer
The below are appointed to serve as Disciplinary Committee for the Youth Organization;
- Bro King Solomon
- Bro Franklin Olajorin
- Sis Adetona Adebimpe
Amb. Olasunkanmi Adeshina encourages the youths to work alongside with the acting executives, and tasked everyone to be partner in progress inorder to achieve the set goals for the youth organization.
Bro Adetunji Adeniyi, the outgoing Coordinator of the Youth organization, in his remarks, urges everyone to work and cooperate with the acting executives for the betterment of the church, and for individual development of the youth.
The duo also advised the acting executives to be united; and charges them to be good examples to other youths in the church. Finally, they prayed that God gives the acting executives the wisdom, knowledge and understanding to lead and be successful.
The Shepherd, Daddy Oshinowo, when briefed about the outcome of the meeting by Amb. Olasunkanmi Adeshina and Bro. Adetunji Adeniyi; and, on sighting the acting executives list, he prayed for the success of the executives and all members. Furthermore, he said, all eyes are on the acting executives to see how well they’ll perform the assignments given to them for the growth of the organization and the church as a whole.
