In an unexpected twist, Comr. Ibrahim Olajide, also known as Oju Ikorodu and a candidate for the State Chairman role of the National Union of Road Transport Workers (NURTW), has disappeared under mysterious circumstances. Olajide, a well-known figure in Ikorodu, was reportedly arrested by the local security group, ONYABO, and later transferred to the custody of the Ikorodu police.
The police authorities at the Ikorodu barracks confirmed his arrest but stated that he had been transferred to Zone 2. However, upon inquiry at Zone 2, authorities there denied any knowledge of Olajide’s whereabouts. Despite efforts to trace his location, Hon. Owolabi Anifowoshe, a local community leader, asserts that Olajide remains unaccounted for as of the time of compiling this report.
