Ijebu Fashion festival is the biggest fashion platform in Ogun State, Nigeria. The event aim to create awareness, recognition, appreciation and empowerment of budding and established creatives within and outside Ijebu communities it is a compedium of different fashion activities which includes Fashion show, pageantry, fashion award, tradefair and fashion masterclasses.
Ijebu Fashion Festival 2023 is set to hold in Ijebu Ode sometimes in November.Addressing a news conference in Ijebu Ode this afternoon, the organiser of the event, Miss Ayokunle Maraiyesa disclosed that Miss Ijebu 2023 will be bagging prize worth of 4million naira which includes;An all expenses paid trip to Qater proudly sponsored by Fly with me global Sponsorship to any national pageant of winner choice sponsored by M.R design, Miss Ijebu 2023 award, Cover girl of Ijebu Fashion Magazine, Endorsement deals, 12 months Salary.
The pageant registeration is open to all past queens of any Ijebu community and aspiring pageant Queen who believe they have what it takes to wear the biggest beauty crown in Ijebu Kingdom.
Stressing on the need for the beauty pageant , Miss Maraiyesa Ayokunle emphasized that ” In an era where the word “beauty “has been bastardize, there is need for re-orientation, and re definition of feminine beauty and this is the core aim of Miss Ijebu beauty pageant. We believe women are change agent when their sense of self goes beyond their physical look, when they are confident in whatever skin colour and body size they are, and when they sharpen their intellectual mind to speak bodly without fear.

Registeration starts July 1 to August 7, 2023.The screening process will begin from a selection of the top 120 contestants who will be further whittled down to 50 shortlisted candidates.
“Subsequently, 18 semi-finalists will head into the Miss Ijebu boot camp and onto the grand finale from which the eventual winner will emerge,” she added.
According to the statement, the 2023 Miss Ijebu is open to beautiful young Nigerian women within the ages of 18 – 25.
