The Director-General of Tinubu Presidential Ambassadors of Nigeria and Diapora TPAND, Hon. Engr. Yusuff Hussaini has expressed his heartfelt congratulations to Hon. Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim and Mr. Ayodele Olawande on their recent nomination as the minister and minister of State for Youth, respectively.
President Bola Tinubu, on 17 Sept 2023, approved the nomination of Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim to serve as the Minister of Youth and Mr. Ayodele Olawande to serve as the Minister of State, pending their confirmation by the Senate of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
Briefing journalists on Monday in Abuja, Engr. Yusuff Hussaini assured the ministerial nominees of his readiness to support and work harmoniously with them.
The TPAND DG who previously expressed interest in the ministerial appointment, called on his team members and Nigerians to accept the decision of Mr. President and the party to have nominated Dr. Jamila Bio Ibrahim and Mr. Ayodele Olawande to serve in the ministry of Youth
While stating that the decision is best for the country at the moment, Engr. Yusuff Hussaini urged Nigerians to work with the nominees for the development of the youth, noting that he’s quite convinced there are many opportunities available for others to serve in the government which will surely get to them.
“I believes His Excellency, President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has made the right choice and as Nigerians, we must embrace and accept the nomination for the progress of our dear party and most importantly for the development of Nigerians youth irrespective of our personal interest.
“I appreciate my family, friends and members of my support group who stood by me and called on Mr. President on my behalf for the position of Youth Minister. You all have shown an immeasurable love for me and I will never forget such massive support”, he stated.
