MFM’s 35th Anniversary Convention Overflowing with Testimonies and Miracles as Governors Sanwo-Olu, Abiodun, and Oborevwori Join Dignitaries to Witness a Powerful Move of God

It was testimonies galore at the just-concluded 35th anniversary/international convention of the Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries (MFM), held at the Prayer City from Friday, August 16 to Sunday, August 18, 2024, with the theme “Power from On High.” Governors Babajide Sanwo-Olu, Dapo Abiodun, Rt. Hon. Sheriff Oborevwori, and other dignitaries witnessed the great move of God.

The convention, which saw an amazing surge of millions of believers both physically present at the Prayer City and online, recorded an unprecedented number of testimonies, including undeniable deliverances, healings, salvation, and breakthroughs. One testifier, who was totally blind, reported that she was healed as her eyes opened. Notably, several barren women in their 50s who had been infertile for over a decade returned with children born during the last convention.

The anniversary and convention also set a record, with close to 500 students from MFM branches worldwide graduating with first-class honors from various higher institutions and receiving Dr. Olukoya’s award. This is arguably the largest gathering of first-class graduates by any ministry globally.

Worshippers enjoyed a blissful atmosphere of joy at the anniversary and convention, witnessing activities such as award ceremonies, lectures, and music concerts.

The Mountain of Fire and Miracles Ministries is an international church with branches in the United Kingdom, the United States, Canada, Europe, the Caribbean, and Asia.

According to the General Overseer, the anniversary will undoubtedly have significant positive impacts on the nation due to the prayers offered, including many intercessory prayers.

The church has positively impacted lives worldwide through its salvation messages, deliverance prayers, and yoke-breaking programs. It has also empowered lives through its Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) initiatives, such as scholarship programs, food distribution, and empowerment for men, women, and youth.

Dr. Olukoya, the General Overseer of MFM worldwide, received the vision for the church from God 35 years ago. Today, the world witnesses numerous manifestations of God’s power over the past three decades.

The MFM began in 1989 with a prayer meeting of 24 people held in Dr. Olukoya’s living room while he was working at the Nigerian Institute of Medical Research in Yaba. From that small beginning, the prayer meetings attracted many members, leading to a move to 60 Old Yaba Road. As the crowd grew, another relocation was necessary, which led to the purchase of an abandoned building at 13 Olasimbo Street, Onike, Yaba.
