The Nigerian youth are characterized as ambitious, enthusiastic, energetic, and promising.
It is time for Nigeria to have a female Minister of Youth Development. YES! Women are the driving force of any society and the backbone of the family. They nurture and care for the young, old, sick, and vulnerable. It is about time we have a female minister of youth development to help in mentoring, coaching, guiding, and counselling the youth.
A country’s development is closely tied to the growth and empowerment of its women and youth. Investing in their education, health, sports, and economic opportunities can lead to significant increases in productivity, innovation, and overall well-being, ultimately contributing to the nation’s growth and prosperity.” Any investment in youth and women would help in no small measure to reduce the level of poverty in the country, noting Mr. President’s antecedents of building men and institutions is an added advantage to our great nation, Nigeria.
On this note, we hereby nominate a woman in person of Dr. Obiageli Vivian Egwuatu Nsirim, who has spent most of her life inspiring, nuturing, mentoring, coaching, guiding, and counselling the younger generation.

The Founder and CEO of Young Moms Support Initiative. A devoted Christian, Humanitarian Agent, and Philanthropist, which led her to founding Young Moms Support Initiative (YMSI) – a non-governmental organization (NGO) seeking to support and empower women and children for a better society.
YMSI birthed one ofthe largest online global communities of young women called YOUNG MOMS FORUM with over 2 Million (2,000,000) women mostly, mothers and mothers-to-be- soon, from all walks of life, cutting across 36 States in Nigeria, and Diaspora (www.facebook.com/groups/youngmomsforum).
It is a community whereby women come together to share ideas on issues and challenges facing women and children and provide advice, personal experiences, and suggestions on how to manage such challenges. She provides mentorship, skill development, and education programs to help women achieve a happy home and improve livelihood and economic stability.
Prior to starting Young Moms Support Initiative (YMSI), Obiageli has worked both in the UK and Nigeria for such illustrious organizations like NHS UK, Barnet Citizens Advice Bureau UK, Partnerships-In-Care UK, Aspirations Care UK, Oiltest Group Nigeria and also, based on her experiences and competence, she served as the Special Assistant to Commissioner for Budget and Economic Planning, Rivers State, Nigeria.
Obiageli hails from Ogbeotu Village in Onitsha North Local Government Area in Anambra State. She is a Chartered Administrator; Multiple Award-Winning Life and Transformational Coach and Mentor; Author of Best Selling Book; International Business Consultant; Extra Ordinary Influencer; Advocate for Women’s Development, Empowerment, and Inclusion in Government; Member of the Young African Leadership Initiative (Yali); An Associate Member, Women in Management, Business and Public Service (WimBiz), Member Chartered Institute of Personnel Development (ACIPD UK) and Peace Ambassador. Registered Member of All Progressives Congress Party (APC) FCT/ABC/06/10823.
Obiageli was awarded a Doctor of Philosophy in Guidance and Counselling from Western Ville University Santiago California USA in 2021. An Executive Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) in International Management in 2019, by from ABA Business School. She is a graduate of Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Middlesex University Business School, London, UK in 2010; and, Enugu State University of Science and Technology with a Bachelor in Science Honours (BSc), Mass Communications in 2004.
Young Moms Forum was founded out of Obiageli’s passion to inspire, motivate, educate and empower young mothers and soon-to-be mothers in areas of parenting, motherhood, relationships, business, career, and other matters of mutual interest. She has empowered millions of women globally through her daily educative and interactive sections on her online community.Over 50 thousand women have been empowered through their Skill Acquisition Programs. She encourages women going through depression, domestic violence, abuse, and unemployment to SPEAK OUT and seek help.
Obiageli’s guiding philosophy is to make a positive and sustainable difference in the lives of young women. Her humanitarian drive and passion have given her a global feel in the International Community. She has basked in a host of awards and accolades, both local and international. She has been featured in multiple Online and Print platforms globally. She has been honoured with the Chieftaincy Titles, such as:
