The Lagos State Police Command, under the leadership of Commissioner CP Adegoke Fayoade, mni, psc, has assured residents and the Muslim community of adequate security measures during the 2024 Eid-el-fitr celebrations and beyond.
CP Fayoade, extending felicitations to the people of Lagos State, particularly the Muslim faithful, emphasized the commitment of the Command to ensuring the safety and security of all citizens. In alignment with his policing vision, CP Fayoade has issued directives to all Area Commanders, Divisional Police Officers (DPOs), Tactical Commanders, and Intelligence Officers to intensify security deployments across strategic and vulnerable areas throughout the state.
The deployed officers have been instructed to maintain professionalism, exhibit courtesy, and enforce security measures firmly. CP Fayoade has pledged to closely monitor and review the security architecture to sustain the prevailing peace in Lagos State.
In urging residents to remain security-conscious and vigilant, the Command encourages the prompt reporting of any suspicious incidents to the nearest Police Station.
