The Lagos State All Progressives Congress (APC) Electoral Committee has announced a crucial Stakeholders’ Meeting scheduled to hold on Wednesday, 7th May 2025, at the State Party Secretariat, Acme Road, Ogba, Ikeja, beginning at 10:00 AM.
According to a notification jointly signed by Babatunde Ogala, SAN, Chairman of the State Electoral Committee, and Nurudeen Bamidele, Secretary of the State Electoral Committee, on Monday, 5th May 2025, the meeting is convened as part of ongoing preparations for the upcoming local government primaries. It will bring together key party stakeholders across the state to deliberate on matters critical to the success of the party’s internal democratic processes.
Expected attendees include:
- Prince Tajudeen Oluyole Olusi
- Chairmen of the 57 Local Governments and Local Council Development Areas (LCDAs)
- All three serving Senators representing Lagos State
- All APC serving members of the House of Representatives from Lagos State
- All APC members of the Lagos State House of Assembly
- Apex Leaders in the 57 LGAs and LCDAs
- All cleared chairmanship aspirants who have been screened and approved to contest the party primaries
- Outgoing Council Chairmen
- Members of the State Executive Council of the Party
This meeting aims to ensure alignment, transparency, and the smooth conduct of the party’s forthcoming primaries across the state.
