…Discussions Focused on Infrastructure, Education, Security, and the Release of Nnamdi Kanu
Hon. Khadijat Kareem Omotayo, the personal assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu on Constituency Affairs and her team visited Awka, Anambra State, in June 2024 to discuss President Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s mandate with the local populace, emphasizing grassroots harmonization. The visit aimed to promote unity among the people of Anambra State, fostering a sense of one united Nigeria and bridging gaps with other tribes in the nation. Additionally, the team sought to identify areas where the federal government could provide support and intervention.
The delegation was warmly received by Mr. Chinedu Nwoye, the Deputy Chief of Staff and Director of Protocol to the Governor of Anambra State, and Engr. Benjamin Okoye, the Traditional Prime Minister, representing King Eze Uzu, who was unavoidably absent. The Traditional Prime Minister welcomed the delegation and expressed the kingdom’s appreciation for the visit.
The meeting, conducted in an open and cordial atmosphere, saw Hon. Khadijat Kareem Omotayo delivering the President’s message of unity and cooperation. Fruitful discussions were held with the Traditional Prime Minister, elders, and stakeholders from Anambra State.
