Hon. Khadijat Kareem Omotayo, Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, and her team recently visited the Emir of Muri in Jalingo, Taraba State, to discuss President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda. The visit aimed to promote unity among the diverse population of Taraba State and identify areas where federal assistance could be most beneficial.
The delegation, led by Mr. Adebayo Adeyinka, was warmly received by Mr. Umar Musa, the Emir of Muri’s personal assistant, who introduced them to His Royal Majesty Alhaji Abbas Njidda Tafida. The Emir extended his regards to President Tinubu and expressed gratitude for the visit.
During the discussions, the delegation focused on fostering unity and cooperation within the community. The Emir highlighted the need for federal government support in critical areas such as youth development, education, and economic empowerment. He also emphasized the importance of local initiatives to complement federal efforts, particularly in economic investment and job creation.
A significant outcome of the meeting was the Emir’s positive reception of federal initiatives like the establishment of the Ministry of Livestock. He expressed optimism that such initiatives would enhance livestock production in the region, contributing to the local economy.
