Hon. Khadijat Kareem Omotayo, Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, paid an official visit to His Royal Highness Dr. Ibrahim Bello, the Emir of Gusau, Zamfara State. This visit was part of a broader initiative by the President to strengthen grassroots connections and address local issues.
During the meeting, Hon. Kareem reaffirmed the President’s commitment to supporting the state government and addressing the needs of Zamfara’s residents. She expressed concern over a potential protest by local youths and requested the Emir’s assistance in promoting peaceful resolutions.
The discussions highlighted the necessity of federal support to bolster state government efforts. The Emir suggested focusing on alleviating hunger and engaging in dialogue with labor unions and protest groups to find peaceful solutions.
The Emir praised President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for establishing the Office of the Personal Assistant to the President on Constituency Affairs, viewing the visit as a positive step towards enhanced collaboration and addressing critical issues in Zamfara State.
