Hon. Khadijat Kareem Omotayo, the personal assistant to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, recently convened a significant town hall meeting at the Government House in Awka. This meeting aimed to foster direct dialogue with state stakeholders and address critical infrastructure needs crucial for Anambra State’s development.
Key participants included representatives from various sectors, such as government officials and community leaders. Their collective input was vital in shaping the infrastructure agenda for the state.
During the interactive session, several pressing infrastructure needs were highlighted by stakeholders:
- Road Infrastructure
- Electricity
- Healthcare Facilities
- Poverty Alleviation
- Insecurity
- Establishment of Federal Universities
- Soil Erosion
The town hall meeting concluded with a commitment from Hon. Khadijat Kareem Omotayo to compile a comprehensive report of the identified infrastructure needs. This report will be presented to relevant government agencies and development partners for consideration and action in line with the “RENEWED HOPE AGENDA.”
