1. Correcting JAMB Name Details:
- Minor spelling corrections, such as changing “Mari” to “Mary,” are straightforward during JAMB registration.
- Submit a ticket via the JAMB support center online or visit an accredited JAMB registration CBT center for these adjustments.
- Note: Complete name changes or significant alterations are not allowed.
2. Change of Name Procedure for 2022 JAMB Candidates and Below:
- Candidates from 2022 and earlier must fill out an indemnity form, submit it to the institution, and return it to JAMB for a name change.
3. Important Note on Name Changes:
- Even with a court affidavit and a name change with NIMC, JAMB records won’t automatically update.
4. Changing Date of Birth:
- While generally not allowed, evident errors can be corrected for a fee of 15,000 Naira at an accredited JAMB CBT registration center.
- Note: Correction must be initiated on NIMC before reflecting on JAMB.
5. Bio Details and NIMC:
- Prior to JAMB 2024 registration, update bio details with the National Identity Management Commission (NIMC).
- Ensure O’level or A’level names align with NIN details to maintain consistency across platforms.
6. Updating Emails and Phone Numbers:
- Once used, emails and phone numbers cannot be changed for JAMB.
- Raise a ticket to step down a profile with incorrect details, enabling a fresh start with accurate information.
