CNN is launching a new events franchise, “Global Perspectives,” to convene leaders and visionaries to address the world’s emerging challenges and showcase opportunities for action.
The inaugural edition, “Global Perspectives: On Africa,” will spotlight some of the world’s fastest-growing economies, exploring how the continent plays a critical role in forging new partnerships, driving innovation, and shaping the global markets of tomorrow. Future editions of Global Perspectives will focus on different regions, sectors, and industries.
Taking place in London on 3 November 2025, the event will open with remarks from CNN Chairman & CEO Sir Mark Thompson and feature sessions with prominent political and business leaders, innovators, and thought leaders. These sessions will be curated and moderated by CNN journalists, including Christiane Amanpour, Richard Quest, Zain Asher, Jim Sciutto, and Larry Madowo.

Hosted at the newly opened Chancery Rosewood Hotel, the event will feature exclusive interviews and content that will reach a global audience via CNN platforms. Coverage will culminate in a special program broadcast on CNN International.
