The Office of the Pastor has observed with great worry that laity members of the Church anointed into the rank of “Special Superior Evangelist” are adorning apparels not appropriate for the rank. Please be informed that this rank (Special Superior Evangelist) was specifically created to upgrade long standing laity members of the Celestial Church of Christ and this rare privilege must therefore not be abused by those so honoured.
Note that the appropriate apparel for the rank of “Special Superior Evangelist” shall be white cassock with trimmings on the cape and with three crosses white girdle. Also, the robe (Ileke) shall be the white ceremonial regalia with the yellow cross bar. This is the standard for laity members of the Church who have been anointed into the rank of “Special Superior Evangelist.” On no account should laity members honoured with this rank adorn the purple regalia and purple girdle as this is exclusively for the clergy (Shepherds).
Violators are adorning themselves in strange apparels and MUST desist from doing so. The scripture warns against this abuse in Zephaniah 1:8: “And it shall come to pass in the day of the Lord’s sacrifice, that I will punish the princes and the king’s children, and all such as are clothed with strange apparel.”
God bless you as you comply. Amen.
