Sup. Evang. Kayode Ajala, M.P.I.C –
After robust deliberations at the General Committee Meeting of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide held at the C.C.C. International Headquarters Cathedral, Ketu, Lagos, on Tuesday, 31st January, 2023, the following resolutions were reached:
RESULT ORIENTED INVESTMENT DRIVE: The Church cannot continue to depend on the One Third Pastoral Returns to meet its day to day financial obligations and for infrastructural growth and development. Hence the need to delve into viable investments that would yield bountiful profit and boost the financial position of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide. Investments in property and real estate top the options being considered.
LEVY: A levy of N5,000 (Five Thousand Naira only) per annum is to be paid by each parish of C.C.C. W/w towards the successful execution of infrastructural projects embarked on by the Church.
CELESTIAL CITY IMEKO DEVELOPMENT FUND: Henceforth, the Celestial City Imeko Development Fund which is collected during Sunday services would continue and would be remitted along with the monthly pastoral returns at the end of each month. A separate receipt would be issued for the Celestial City Imeko Development Fund. The objective is to develop the Celestial City Imeko into a tourist hub and a veritable source of income for the Church.
Henceforth, CORPORATE SPONSORSHIP of major Church events would also be encouraged and vigorously pursued.
The foregoing resolutions are contained in a memo with reference number CCC/WHQ/EMF/PO/RES-01/02-23 dated 6th February, 2023, under the seal of His Eminence, Reverend Emmanuel Mobiyina Oshoffa, Pastor and Spiritual Head of the Celestial Church of Christ Worldwide.
The memo is addressed to all State Evangelists, all Administrative Divisional Evangelists, all Superintendents of Province (S.O.P), all Shepherds and all Parishes of C.C.C. W/w.
