The remains of Dame Caroline Oladunni Adebutu KJW, late matriarch of the Adebutu dynasty, and wife of the billionaire business mogul, Sir Kesington Adebutu, will be laid to rest on friday, 10th february, 2023.
A funeral service for the deceased who passed on to the great beyond, on thursday, 19th January, 2023, will hold at the Wesley Methodist Cathedral, Iperu Remo, Ogun State, Nigeria, same day, while reception of guests is slated to hold at the Kesington Adebutu Resort, along Iperu-Ode Remo road.
According to the funeral announcement made by the Adebutu family, and personally signed by Sir Kesington Adebutu, husband of the late Caroline, a Christian Wake will hold on thursday, 9th february 2023 (today), at the deceased’s residence, Marble House, Iperu Remo.
Earlier in the week, a Service of Songs was held for her at the Harbour Point, Victoria Island, Lagos, on tuesday, 7th february, 2023; while a Commendation Service was also held in her honour at the Hoare’s Memorial Methodist Cathedral, Yaba, Lagos, on Wednesday, 8th february, 2023.
Born on 19th July, 1939, into the family of Jaiyesimi from Odogbolu, Ogun State, Caroline, the Yeyemode of Iperu; Apesin of Lagos; Yeyeoba of Odogbolu; and Yeyemode of Ife; is the mother of frontline politician, and agro-industrialist, Hon. Dr. Otunba Oladipupo Olatunde Adebutu.
